A quick walk around the house this evening in search of something to shoot, and I spied my guitar. I haven’t tried to shoot anything with really shiny bits on it such as the guitars strings and tuning pegs, so this would be a good learning experience for me as far as off camera lighting goes. I would have liked to had another flash to come in from the left of the subject and soften the harsh shadows from the tuning pegs, and lessen the shadows from the strings, but I’m relatively pleased with the shot none the less. I had my softbox coming in from the right and angled slightly upwards.
